Tim Patrick Johansson

On Friday, February 10, Tim Hans Patrick Johansson, beloved husband, son, and brother passedaway from complications of brain cancer. He was thirty years old.Tim was born on April 8, 1992 in Offenburg, Germany, to his parents Mats Johansson and LisaAbrahamsson. As the middle child with two sisters, he spent his early childhood in Germany andEngland before moving to Vancouver, WA in 2001. Growing up Tim's summers were spent in Sweden and Tim remained a lifelong Swedish citizenand supporter of all Swedish sports teams. As an adult Tim continued to spend time in Swedenevery year in addition to other extensive travel with his wife, Samantha. He loved spending timewith his whole extended family and kept in close contact with everyone when he was home inthe US. The happiest day of Tim's life was February 22, 2019 when he married his college sweetheartand love of his life, Samantha (née Eussen), in a beautiful ceremony in Phuket, Thailand. Theywere together for more than 10 years. Through marriage Tim gained an additional three sisters so to say he was well versed in handlingbeing vastly outnumbered by women is an understatement. Tim and Samantha relocated fromNewcastle, WA to Ridgefield, WA in 2020 to be closer to family, something that was veryimportant to them both. Spending time with family, friends, their two ragdoll cats Ferguson andRoger, and taking care of their house and cars were things Tim loved. Tim never passed up on anopportunity to assist anyone with product research and tech issues. He also loved almost everysport in existence and was an avid Manchester United and Trailblazer fan. Tim and Samantha never let Tim's illness get in the way of living their lives exactly how theywanted. In Samantha's own words: "Tim and I have lived everyday like we were going to liveforever. Never once did Tim compromise or delay any goal, trip, or experience because he hadbrain cancer. It was really inconvenient, but we always adapted and pushed forward full speedahead." Tim was preceded in death by his godfather and uncle, Bo and one of his grandfathers. Heleaves behind his loving wife, Samantha, parents Lisa and Mats, sisters Jessica and Teresa,mother and father in-law Megan and Remy Eussen, sisters-in-law Jessica, Madeline, andNatalie, and extended family.
