Patricia J. Perry

Patricia Jean Perry - was born 3/1/33 in Rapid City, South Dakota, moved to Vancouver as a child. She left us on 4/21/2022 with her daughter by her side. As a child she loved to run, talked about having big bows in her hair and braiding daily. She loved her sisters Lerane and Sharon (whom she was best friends with), Judy and her brothers Robert "Bobby" and James "Jimmy". Lerane is the only sibling who has preceded her in death. Patricia "Patsy" attended and graduated from Providence Catholic school in Vancouver in June of 1951. One day she was at the school and a hard ball hit by a group of guys at Shumway Jr. High school fell at her feet, she picked it up and threw it back at the boys and it so happen Eugene Perry was on the other side of the fence and the rest is history. She married March 25th, 1953, to Eugene. She worked as a server at Fred Meyer's Eves Buffet and Marc's Bakery as an accountant. They were parents to four beautiful children. Children Glenn Earl, Teresa Jean, Wayne "Pee Wee" which preceded her in death and Kevin Kaye Perry She welcomed with open arms her family, both biological and nonbiological. A true blended family these past few years. Survived by loving Grandchildren: Jennifer Fetcko, Adrianne Perry, Brian Halvorsen, Eric Halvorsen, and Michael Perry, and step grandson Cory Leo Simon. And her favorite son-in-law was Donnie White who has preceded her, and her favorite daughter-in-law is Carol. Patsy love babies, and she deeply loved her Great grandchildren Zaevian, Trinity, Sienna, Alicianna, Wyatt, and Tate, our newest addition. Over the past 15 years she enjoyed seeing them and wondering what they were up tom she got to meet the second newest grandson who is about 8 months old. She visited him a few times before she passed and was all smiles when placed on her lap. And every time since her first visit with him when shown a picture of Wyatt there was more smiles. Her hobbies were walking on the beach, looking at clouds and flowers, (would not let anyone mow the volunteer flowers in her yard until their blooms were gone) gardening, baking, quilting, and garage sales with sisters, daughter, and anyone who was in the car with her, bowling, and shuffleboard. In addition to these hobbies, she loved animals over the years she has had multiples of both types, most recent she had cats, Missy, DC, and Georgie. Then there came her grand dog Blu' a dog she loved like no other. Graveside service Evergreen Memorial Gardens 1:00 p.m. Monday May 2nd, in the Love Section Reception to follow in hospitality room
