Marion L. Parker

Marion Lynn Brady Parker, age 74, was born on November 5, 1947, in Murray, UT. She passed away February 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Marion was a beloved wife, mother, Granny, and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Hendrickson Brady and Melva Wardell Brady as well as her sisters, Beverly Cleghorn and Betty Peterson. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served for many years in various service callings. Marion was a friend and mother to all that knew her. She most recently worked for over twenty-three years at Evergreen High School, a short stint at Oregon City High School and finished at Heritage High School in Vancouver as a campus security guard. She loved her job and most of all, loved the teenagers she was charged with watching over. Her greatest joys in life were her nine children and twenty-one grandchildren. She also helped to raise multiple other children in her home as well as at school and was always firm but loving with each of them. She was always the most fun person in the room and loved nothing better than a gathering of family and friends including tons of good food and lots of laughter. She was very loved and will be missed greatly. Marion is survived by her husband, Zane Parker and her children, Paul Parker (Jenn), Jodi Parker, Traci Ware (Steve), Jenni Noyes (Maurice), Tim Parker (Kelli), Errol Parker (Kim), Molli Smith (Kris), Juli Buck (Calvin) and Kassi Parker. Marion is also survived by two of her sisters, Anne Larsen, and Mary Jane Gray and her beloved twenty-one grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her funeral services will be held, Thursday, February 17th, 2022, at 1:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Vancouver North Stake Center, 11101 NE 119th Street, Vancouver, WA. The viewing will be immediately preceding the services at the same location from 10 am-12 pm. Interment will be immediately following the funeral service at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
