Kaileigh Amor Seidel

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our vibrant, full of life daughter, Kaileigh Amor Seidel who was taken from us too soon at the tender age of 24 on Saturday June 22, 2024. Kaileigh was born on January 7, 2000, to Maureen Ostlund and Bryan Seidel in Portland, Oregon. She spent her childhood between Camas, WA and West Linn, OR. After graduating from Brush Prairie High School in 2018 she took some Bible College classes while working as a Barista at several coffee shops before becoming a Chiropractic Assistant. Kaileigh's life was a testament to her fearless spirit and boundless love for life, whether skydiving, scuba diving or white-water rafting, she embraced all life had to offer. Kaileigh's beautiful, infectious smile lit up every room and touched the hearts of everyone she met. She was funny, quick-witted, and had an innate ability to connect with people from all walks of life, effortlessly striking up conversations and making friends. Her presence and booming voice commanded any space, often making her the center of attention even though she hated the spotlight. Kaileigh was an incredible big sister to her three younger siblings. Despite the 16-year age difference, Kai made time for her little brother Knox, always down to play hide-and-seek, cornhole, pickleball, nerf wars or any other game he would dream up. Kai was fiercely loyal and protective, always having her sisters' backs. She was the first to lend a listening ear or offer advice whenever they needed it. These qualities are also what made her a great friend. Kai had a special place in her heart for dogs, especially her beloved Boxer Kooper, who misses her like crazy. Her compassionate spirit extended beyond her love for animals, as she dedicated herself to helping others in her role as a chiropractic assistant. As you can see, Kaileigh was a pretty rad young lady, but the one thing people loved most about her was her unwavering authenticity. She spoke her mind with conviction and didn't care what anyone thought. She was unapologetically herself, 100% of the time. Though her time with us was far too short, Kaileigh's memory will forever be a beacon of joy and love. Her radiant smile and dynamic presence will be celebrated and remembered always. We promise to honor your life and treat it as a reminder to love those God has blessed us with while we have them. Hold them a little longer, hug a little tighter, love a little deeper, laugh a little louder, and let all the small stuff go. And it's all small. As we say goodbye to Kaileigh today, we also carry forward her spirit in our hearts, knowing she is now dancing and spreading her light in heaven now. Kaileigh is survived by her parents, Maureen Ostlund and Bryan Seidel, her stepdad Chris Ostlund, and siblings, Aliyah Seidel, Sydney Seidel and Knox Ostlund, who cherish every moment spent with Kai. Her loss leaves a void that will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
