Donna Marie Ritenburgh

Donna Marie Ritenburgh 78, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025 at home, surrounded by close friends and family. Born on November 1, 1946 in Vallejo, California, Donna was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was known for her caring, dedicated, gentle spirit, strong, kind and generous heart, spirited personality, and strong faith in the Lord. She brought joy and light to all who knew her, especially through her singing, volunteering, and motherly love. She loved to garden and found comfort and joy in planting flowers. She enjoyed art projects with her grandkids, loved partaking in game nights and family shenanigans, as well as vacationing in California, Cabo San Lucas, Palm Springs and Hawaii. Her favorite pastimes were being at the beach and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and furbabies. Donna was resilient and determined. Her foot-stomping attitude was not to be reckoned with! She was a fighter and no matter what obstacles were presented, she powered through with courage and resilience. She was a warrior with a charismatic smile and vivacious personality–loved by all. She treated everyone with kindness and compassion. Donna is survived by her three daughters Christina, Jennifer and Joanna; two son in-laws Stacy and Tony; three grandchildren Logan, Spencer and Tyler; two brothers Rick and Donald; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Edward, mother Jean, and father Flor. Donna was a dedicated servant of God and member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 7th, 12:30pm at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. There will be time after the service to celebrate Donna with a small graveside service for close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Joseph’s Church, ASPCA and ALS Association in Donna Ritenburgh’s memory. Your presence, prayers, and memories are deeply appreciated by the family during this time of grief and reflection. Donna brought warmth, faith, and love into everyone's life. She is now in God’s merciful love for eternal rest, and may perpetual light shine upon her. Thank you for honoring Donna’s life with your presence, support, and prayers.
