Beverly Joan Lovelace

Beverly was born in Twin Falls, ID, to Wilma and Arnold Kidd. She passed peacefully at home in Vancouver, WA, on the same day as her husband just one year prior. God redeemed this day of her greatest sorrow into amazing joy as she rejoined her beloved in Heaven, their forever home. Beverly met her sweetheart Bud at the age of 12 while living in South Bend, WA. They were married Feb. 20, 1954, her senior year of high school, while he was on leave from the Navy. She finished high school in South Bend as he finished his service in the military. Two years later Jimmy was born and Tommy six years after that. During this time they pastored a church in Salmon Falls, WA, and then Vancouver, WA, where they ministered together for 36 years. They were a great team managing the needs of the church and much loved congregates, Bud, the handsome preacher, and his beautiful Beverly at the organ. It's here that both of their sons met and married their wives and where all of their grandchildren were dedicated to the Lord. We're all so blessed to share in those memories and carry on their legacy of faith. After retirement, Bev and Bud stayed busy traveling and helping out in their sons pizza business until Bev was diagnosed with MS and couldn't continue. Dad had a new job taking care of mom until he no longer could and she moved to a care facility. He was there with her every day and eventually moved there too. Theirs was a beautiful love story and example for us all. Although Mom progressively lost her mobility over the years, she never gave up her impeccable style. She was always "dressed up" with full makeup, necklace, earrings, nails done and sometimes too much perfume. She was a treasure and loved her family dearly and she made sure we all knew it. Beverly is survived by son Jim (Lisa); their children Erin Waller (Joey), Brandon Lovelace (Tiffany), Brittany Lovelace, Jameson Lovelace (Layne). Son Tom (Lisa); their children Jeremy Lovelace (Amy) and Jennifer Adamson (Jake), 16 great-grandchildren plus two on the way, sister Judy Ashley (Jerry); brother Gary Kidd as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Thank you Alex and Claude and the staff at Highland Adult Care Home for your loving care of mom and for helping her look so beautiful each and every day. Due to COVID restrictions, the family will be having a private graveside service. Interment is at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver.
